Billy tells me robins are very territorial.  Elizabeth tells me they are friendly.  And Emma? Well according to her they make very good pets... 

On the BBC news the other day they had a feature on robins - mapping their territory. You'd think the robins would stick around over the winter looking festive, but no. Some of them pack their cases and fly off to the sun.  The cheek!  And even more bizarrely, some robins from Scandinavia come here for some winter sun.  Do you think they just ran out of fuel?

Anyway, Robren has its own wee robin - I hope you get to meet him (or her - my knowledge of robins doesn't extend that far).  From the kitchen window you can check out the battle that goes on between the Robin and the Coal Tit.  Better than Eastenders!
